Manihar Welfare Society is always concerned about the future and well-being of its respected members, office bearers, and members of the community. For this purpose, the Society operates an **Emergency Accident Assistance Scheme.
Under this scheme, in the event of the death of a registered member, the Society will appeal to all other members participating in the scheme to contribute the prescribed minimum amount. The financial assistance collected will be transferred directly to the bank account of the deceased member's nominated person.
All members are required to send the financial assistance and upload the transaction details and payment receipt on the Society's website.
All members must comply with the terms and conditions of the **Manihar Welfare Society Emergency Accident Assistance Scheme.
1. The assistance scheme of Manihar Welfare Society is completely voluntary.
2. Any person belonging to the Manihar community residing in Uttar Pradesh may become a member of this scheme and avail its benefits.
3. Based on the principle of **"Only those who contribute will be eligible for assistance,"** the Society will appeal for contributions in the event of the death of a member.
4. A member enrolled in this scheme must voluntarily make every required contribution continuously, without any gap or break, directly to the account of the nominated person.
5. Currently, the minimum contribution amount is **₹100/-**. Any member may voluntarily contribute more than this amount. The Society reserves the right to increase or decrease the contribution amount in the future.
6. If there is a gap or interruption in a member's contribution in any month, the member will not be eligible for assistance. However, after one year, if the member has continuously contributed at least **90%** as per the rules, the member may become eligible for assistance.
7. No member shall have the right to claim a refund of contributions previously made. To become eligible for assistance again, the member must start contributing from the beginning.
8. The lock-in period for all members shall be **10 months**. Making all required contributions during the lock-in period is mandatory. For example, if a member registers on January 1 according to the rules and dies before midnight on October 31 of the same year, the nominee will not be eligible to receive assistance.
9. A member will become eligible only after making **10 consecutive contributions or completing 10 months of continuous contributions without any gap or break**. For example, if a member or office bearer starts contributing from January, that member will become eligible for assistance in November.
10. The validity date shall be considered the last working day of the month. If a member joins in the middle of a month, the validity period will be calculated from the first working day of the following month.
11. Assistance will be provided only after a member has completed **10 contributions or 10 months of validity**. Merely making contributions does not automatically make a member eligible, nor can the nominee claim assistance solely on the basis of the member's contributions.
12. If any information provided in the membership application is found to be false, the member will not be eligible to claim assistance and will not have the right to demand a refund of previously made contributions.
13. The decision of the Society shall be final. Assistance will be provided only after the member is found eligible following district-level verification.
14. No member or nominee shall have any legal right to claim assistance from the Society.
15. The Society will make every possible effort to provide assistance to the nominee within **one week.
16. If an excess amount is accidentally transferred, the nominee will be required to return the excess amount upon submission of appropriate evidence. The Society will make reasonable efforts in this regard but does not guarantee recovery.
17. If a member breaks the contribution cycle and does not qualify under the 90% rule, the member must again make contributions continuously for **10 months** to regain valid membership.
18. No financial assistance will be provided in the event of suicide. Assistance will be provided in all other cases of death, subject to the applicable rules.
19. If the nominee is found to have caused the death of the member, the nominee will not be eligible to receive assistance. In such circumstances, a new nominee may be selected.
20. Assistance will be transferred directly to the nominee's bank account. Therefore, no judicial claim can be made against the Society regarding the payment.
21. Membership may be cancelled, and legal action may be taken, if a member spreads rumors or makes false allegations against the Society.
22. Membership may be terminated for misbehavior with office bearers or involvement in activities against the Society.
23. All members must remain connected to the Society's WhatsApp group. Members shall be responsible for any issues arising due to lack of information if they are not connected to the group.
24. The complete list of members will remain available on the website.
25. Details of all contributions received for the nominee of a deceased member will be made available on the website.
26. With the assistance of block/district office bearers, the family must submit information about the deceased member by filling out the prescribed form on the website and uploading the required documents. Alternatively, information about the deceased member may be sent directly to the helpline's WhatsApp number.

28. Details of every deceased member whose information is registered on the website each day will be publicly available on the website.
29. All eligible deceased members whose information is received on the website between the **1st and 25th of each month** will undergo physical verification between the **26th and 30th of the month.
